The mission of the Schlumberger Foundation is to educate and connect women leaders in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM); driving education, innovation and thought leadership for a balanced planet.​

In a time of rapid technological development and change, the Foundation’s mission reflects the need for long-term constancy within science education. In the face of increasing fragmentation and isolation it recognizes the importance of global connection. And for the planet it represents the pursuit of greater balance – from equality to the environment.​

The recent anniversaries of both the Foundation and the Faculty for the Future program have been an opportunity to take stock. Going forward we have been able to focus on the balance we want to achieve in the next two decades in the following areas:​
