- PhD Title: Long-Term Behaviour of Natural Fibre Reinforced Concrete (NFRC)
- Year of Completion: 2029

PhD Overview
This research aims to address the urgent need for eco-friendly construction materials by investigating and enhancing the long-term behaviour of Natural Fibre Reinforced Concrete (NFRC). Key objectives include assessing durability under various environmental conditions, evaluating the creep and shrinkage behaviours, studying damage growth under long-term loading, and investigating the impact of fiber treatment methods. The research methodology combines experimental investigations with numerical modelling to develop predictive models for NFRC performance, ultimately leading to the enhancement of the recently developed design guidelines for these types of structures.
