- Year of Completion: 2011

PhD Overview
This project addresses practical needs by: 1) developing a green TD tube method for air sampling that protects the environment by reducing nondegradable tools, time, effort, and cost; 2) creating a green TD-GC-MS method to help standardize commercial air sampling for clinical and industrial use; 3) building the first statistical prediction model to identify pollutant sources in unknown samples; and 4) linking health issues to high levels of VOCs, heavy metals, and pesticides. This comprehensive study is unprecedented and supports three SDGs: Good Health and Well-Being, Climate Action (#13), and Partnerships (#17).
Sustainability Goals
